Lou Kovach is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of leadership in industrial operations, supply chain management, and business transformation. Throughout his career, Lou has built and scaled multiple businesses, driven operational efficiencies, and consistently improved financial performance.


As President of Blacksmith Distributing (1993–2005), Lou scaled the business to a successful exit. He developed and managed a national dealer network, implemented cost-saving supply chain strategies, and drove significant revenue growth.


In his role as President of Red Hound Auto & Polar Whale (2005–2024), Lou led the growth of multi-million-dollar e-commerce businesses in the automotive and consumer goods sectors. He optimized global sourcing operations with suppliers in China, Taiwan, and India, implemented ERP systems (NetSuite), and launched successful sales channels on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.


Lou is known for his ability to lead transformation initiatives, strengthen operational foundations, and implement data-driven decision-making strategies that lead to long-term success.
